Begin the central highlands of Guatemala, embarking on a private walking tour of Antigua, one of the world's greatest standing colonial cities. Wander through the living UNESCO World Heritage Site, venturing from the lively and verdant Parque Central to the Tanque la Union, the San Francisco Church and Museum, the picturesque 5th Avenue, and La Merced Church, each showcasing a beautiful display of Barroco Antigueño and 16th- and 17th-century colonial architecture.
Venture beyond Antigua to Iiximche for a captivating private tour of the pre-Columbian Mesoamerican archaeological site nestled in Guatemala's Western Highlands. Explore the site's range of pyramids, temples, and two Mesoamerican ballcourts before uncovering local relics and historic murals at the small onsite museum. Discover the history of this former capital of the late pre-classic Kaqchikel Kingdom from 1470 to 1524 as you enjoy a traditional Mayan ceremony.
Continue your adventure at the mesmerizing Lake Atitlán, nestled among culturally rich Maya towns and the imposing San Pedro, Atitlán, and Tolimán volcanoes. Hop into a traditional tuk-tuk and travel to the Atitlán Natural Reserve, where you'll trek centuries-old trails up the mountain for your unforgettable zip-line adventure across the forest canopy, marveling at extraordinary views of the lake below.
Make your way to the town of Flores in northern Petén for two immersive days exploring Tiakl National Park and the nearby Uaxactun and Yaxha archaeological sites.
