This 13-day epic small group journey through New Zealand is fully guided by Goway. Enjoy exclusive accommodations and unique travel experiences as you stay longer and go deeper into New Zealand. Go behind the scenes of the world’s most famous rugby team at the All Blacks experience in Auckland before enjoying a welcome dinner alongside your fellow like-minded travellers. Cruise to Waiheke Island for a wine tour of the island’s boutique wineries. Explore Middle-earth at the Hobbiton Movie Set before engaging with the traditions of Maori culture at Te Puia and the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. After marvelling at the geysers and mud pools of the Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland, head to Napier on the coast to tour its art deco architecture from the comfort of a vintage 1930s car. Tour the national museum, Te Papa, in the capital Wellington before you cross the Cook Strait to explore the Marlborough wine region of the South Island.
Onwards to Kaikoura on the coast to spot humpback whales in one of the world’s best whaling spots. In Christchurch, enjoy dinner at the iconic Tramway Restaurant which offers incredible views over the city. Onwards to Queenstown to compare the views with the sights from Bob’s Peak at the top of a scenic gondola ride over Lake Wakatipu. Cap off your epic journey across New Zealand with a cruise to the breathtaking fjord of Milford Sound. After seeing this natural wonder from the water, board a helicopter to get a unique vantage point from the air. The journey ends in Queenstown, where you bid your small group farewell.
