November temperatures tend to be more understated than some of the hotter months in The Bahamas. You can expect daily highs around 80°F (27°C), nightly lows around 70°F (21°C), and lower humidity. With the humidity drop, evenings feel a little more pleasant, and though its small, it’s noticeable.

We mentioned earlier that November is something of a transitional month in The Bahamas. This means that there can be rainfall on some days, but this tends to be minimal. Compared to the summer months, November can be far less rainy with the average rainfall around 2–3 inches (50–75 mm). During this month, you can expect short, light showers that pass quickly. In The Bahamas, the ‘Out Islands’ are also sometimes called the Family Islands. This term relates to a group of less developed and more secluded islands that are a good distance away from busier spots like New Providence Island (Nassau) and Grand Bahamas (Freeport). Many of The Bahamas’ 700 islands and cays can be found within this grouping.
The Exumas, Eleuthera & Harbour Island are considered Out Islands. There are also others like Andros (the largest island, known for blue holes and bone fishing), Cat Island, Long Island, Berry Islands, and others. While in The Bahamas, you can take a boat to explore these islands if you want an escape that feels like your own private island. As with most tours and excursions in The Bahamas, it’s best to explore the Out Islands with a guide.
