My Top 10 Highlights of Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados
Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados are two luxury all inclusive resorts in St Lawrence Gap, Barbados. Although it is two separate resorts guests have access to both and it feels like one large property; the Sandals Barbados side is much quieter while the Sandals Royal Barbados side has a much livelier vibe. While you can definitely relax and find areas to sneak away for quiet, it’s the perfect resort for travelers that like to play games, bowl or try their hand at different types of water sports. Here are my Top 10 Highlights of both Sandals Barbados and Sandal Royal Barbados:
1. It’s fun; have date night every night! - I hate going to an all inclusive and getting all ready just to go to dinner and end up right back in the room because there’s nothing to do after dinner. This was never an issue at Sandals Royal Barbados! They had something for everyone; bowling, foosball, shows, English pub, karaoke and the pools never close at Sandals. So be prepared to stay up late and be entertained!
2. Sandals Royal Barbados has a craft beer bar! My husband was in absolute heaven choosing between the 19 craft beer offerings.
3. Don’t sleep on the rooftop pool, it’s fabulous. We went to the rooftop our last day and it was apparent we should’ve made it more of a priority. I love to people watch and the pool was an amazing place to take in the beautiful beach views, but it also overlooked the main pool and provided some nice entertainment. The French restaurant, La Parisienne, is also here and is a must try!
4. Don’t skip the crepes at Cafe de Paris!
5. Merry Monkey’s late night food menu always hit the spot! I loved the prime rib.
6. The wrap around swim up pool at Sandals Barbados was the perfect spot to go and get in some one on one, private time.
7. A 10 minute walk and you’re at the heart of Barbados’ entertainment district, The Gap, bounding with restaurants, clubs and shops. The party doesn’t heat up until after 10 pm, but when it gets going it’s on! Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados are only a $5 Uber or 10 minute walk to the district.
8. The complimentary snorkeling trip for Club level guests was perfection! It was well organized, they took us to 2 snorkel spots and it was only a few hours.
9. You must try a coconut mojito! So delish!
10. Friday nights welcomes locals and tourists alike to dance, eat and let loose at Oistin’s Fish Fry. Oistin’s is just a short Uber ride away and it’s so fun to mingle with the locals and eat local dishes!
I loved our stay at Sandals Barbados; it’s one of those resorts that I truly feel fits everyone. It would be a great destination wedding resort as well as honeymoon getaway. Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados would also be a great option for a group of couples or a girls getaway.

I found my love of traveling in a little red suitcase in the back of my grandma's white Dodge Dynasty. In an era before cell phones and GPS, I was charged with navigating my aunt to our destination using the map my grandpa had marked for us. I'll never forget the silent anticipation as we would pull into our destination after hours of driving; that moment where the weeks of planning finally culminated in pure joy and tangible excitement. As a travel agent that is the feeling I chase for my clients, that is the excitement I want to help provide for my clients. It is my passion.
Having traveled to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, National Parks and many Caribbean Islands (including getting engaged in St Lucia and married in Jamaica), I enjoy sharing off the beaten path excursions and fun cuisine ideas with clients. Authentic experiences are my specialty and I'm always on the hunt for more! I love taking a client's preferences and helping them create a lifetime of memories that are specifically suited for them. Traveling has had such a wonderful impact on my life, and I love getting to share that with others.
In my down time I can be found chasing after my 2 daughters and husband; they are my biggest support and best travel companions!!

Kendell chose the perfect resort for our group of ladies! The Hyatt Ziva staff were so nice- they made our birthday celebration special! Sparklers, special cakes, balloons, lattes, and lots of singing! The scenery couldn’t be beat either- great beaches and pools! Thank you Kendell for helping our friend group come together from all over the US. We had a blast! -Jessica Watson
Switzerland
We had an incredible time on our Swiss vacation Kendell LeBlanc planned! The accommodations were top notch- exceeded our expectations. The views and hotel amenities at each place (we stayed in Zurich and Luzern) were even better than I expected. Kendall also provided us with great airport pickup and transport options for each leg that were so carefully thought through and took all of the guess work out. She personally hasn’t been to Switzerland- but don’t let that deter you from booking any vacation with her. She used her very professional partners in Europe to plan things for us, and it was perfect! I can’t wait to do another trip she plans! -Cami Stinson Engles

Believe it or not my first trip to Disney was an adults only, girls weekend getaway! We escaped an artic blast in Oklahoma and found ourselves in the middle of Disney MAGIC!
I was always a Disney skeptic and had no real desire to go and I certainly didn't believe in the 'Magic of Disney,' but at every turn I was proven wrong time and time again even as an adult!! We hit all the parks, and of couse drank around the world at Epcot which culminated in berets, Canada athleisure wear and zooming around Test Track at a cool 65mph. We ate, we drank, we rope dropped and we had the best time. Below I've put together a fun list of things you may need or to keep in mind for your adults only Disney vacation.
Bring Sunscreen (even in the winter months) - I totally failed on this one!
Take a day to bar hop at the resorts using the skyliner and the monorail as your transportation. So.Much. Fun.
Wear pants with pockets. You will be using your phone constantly. It's just easier...trust.
Be flexible. Have a general plan for the day but know this is not set in stone...especially if your drinkning around the world at Epcot.
If you don't know, ask. Seriously everyone is so nice. If it's a Disney app issue look for the cast members under the blue umbrellas.
Magic Kingdom doesn't have alcohol booths. Be prepared. IYKYK.
Bring snacks and a travel mug, most quick service locations will give you free cups of water. So stay hydrated!
Items are closer than they appear....on the map. The maps can be overwhelming, but I was surprised how close things felt comparatively.
Comfy shoes, motrin, bandaids....this is the ultimate trifecta. Make it your mantra and never be without any of these things. I warned you!
If on a girls' trip consider pantyliners. Yep, I went there. We all know our pelvic floors aren't what they use to be and it's guaranteed someone in your group will pee themselves laughing. And this my friends, is the magic of Disney, not the pee of course, but the bonds it brings, the happiness it creates and the memories it makes.
