Modernity

As well as being the leader in the expedition cruise market, PONANT has the newest fleet. Whether brand new like our extreme polar exploration ship Le Commandant Charcot, or vintage, like the company’s iconic yacht Le Ponant (which has taken to sea again in 2022 after a complete refurbishment), they have all benefited from a recent renovation and refitting. The restaurants

On board, we offer you two different catering concepts. In the gourmet restaurant, à la carte meals are served at the table. During lunch, a selection of contemporary French brasserie-inspired dishes is served. At dinner, make way for the great tradition of French gastronomy. At the grill restaurant, a buffet creates a more relaxed atmosphere. “Being a chef on the water is unique. We head to Australia, and next month we are in Japan.
