However, they are really natural sinkholes. Visit the undersea observatory there, as well as the island gift shop with unique Micronesian crafts and a free undersea photo gallery. Also nearby are the Piti guns, which once formed part of the Japanese coastal defenses. Asan is 2 mi/3 km west of Hagatna.
