We had a fantastic time at the 2022 Disney Destinations EarMarked Program Owners Summit! This year’s summit took place at Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney’s original theme park and a coveted vacation destination for families for almost 70 years. You, our Disney EarMarked Program travel agency owners, were treated to presentations from Disney executives, celebrity panels featuring Disney Legends, exclusive entertainment offerings and inspirational speakers, all with the intention of applying what you learned to grow your businesses.
This year featured a powerful lineup of presentations from Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney Imagineering, Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions. I loved hearing from all the presenters, as I’m sure you all did too. And, how about those fantastic musical performances and celebrity panels! It was great to listen to Disney Legends Don Hahn, Anika Noni Rose and Ming-Na Wen, and all our other guests.
For those who couldn’t be there, all of us got up bright and early to participate in an exclusive photo opportunity before the opening of Disneyland Park. We formed a massive “100” on Main Street, U.S.A. to commemorate the upcoming 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company in 2023. And the summit was capped off with a special viewing of the World of Color nighttime spectacular and a private after-hours party in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park.
We look forward to gathering together and hosting you each year. Our Disney EarMarked Program agencies are such an integral piece of our business, helping guests plan magical vacations year after year. We know how important it is to take the time to show you our appreciation in all you do for Disney Destinations. 2023 is going to be a very exciting year for us. We will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, the 25th anniversary of Disney Cruise Line, completing the reimagining of EPCOT and introducing brand-new itineraries with Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions It’s a fantastic time to be working with Disney, and we know you will take all you’ve learned this week to plan memorable vacations for your clients.
