Day 1: Arrival in Quito, Ecuador
¡Bienvenidos a Ecuador! When we touched down at Mariscal Sucre International Airport, we were immediately greeted by a friendly Adventures by Disney representative holding a bright orange sign. It was such a warm welcome and set the tone for the adventure ahead. From there, we headed to the Wyndham Quito Airport Hotel, which was both cozy and full of Ecuadorian charm.
After checking in, we had the evening to ourselves. Some of us stayed at the hotel to relax, while others ventured out to explore Quito. The Adventure Guides had plenty of great recommendations for experiencing the city’s vibrant culture and delicious cuisine.
Day 2: Off to the Galápagos – Baltra & Mosquera Islet
After a leisurely breakfast, we were off to Baltra Island. The flight itself felt like the beginning of the adventure, as we anticipated what was waiting for us in the Galápagos. Once we arrived, we took a scenic panga boat ride to the
Galápagos Legend, which would be our floating home for the next six days.

After exploring, we cooled off with a refreshing swim before heading back to the ship for lunch.
