When it comes to cruising the Caribbean, you can generally sail year-round. Generally, December through April tend to be the driest months across the region, allowing you to fully enjoy some of the world’s most beautiful beaches.
If visiting countries such as Greece, Spain, Italy or France is of interest, cruising in the Mediterranean is best from May through August. The summer months are naturally the most popular so if your schedule permits, look to April, March, October, and November for the easiest ways to view ancient ruins, skip the lines at the museum or visit an Italian vineyard.
And if you are planning a trip Down Under, October through April are the best calendar times to experience all that Australia and New Zealand have to offer. While these countries are considered to be year-round cruise destinations, bear in mind that an Aussie summer is December through February and winter runs June to August.
