• Copenhagen: Join your Local Expert for a visit to the Amalienborg Palaces, home to the Danish royal family and Crown Prince. These four identical palaces frame an octagonal courtyard where the changing of the guard ceremony takes place daily at noon.

The Smaaland area, located about 225 mi/360 km southwest of Stockholm, is often called the Glass District or the Kingdom of Crystal. The fairly compact area's several towns are all home to glass-making plants. About 20 of the factories, all within a short drive of one another, offer free tours.
