Novices can find their feet at one of the local ski schools, while the seasoned skier can try exhilarating high Alpine skiing. In the summer, hike the mountain trails to photograph the wildflower meadows and limpid Alpine lakes. The local dining scene has something to keep everyone in your large group happy, with a vibrant choice of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes.
Irresistibly cosy, Lansdown Chateau's décor reflects its location in the heart of the Rocky Mountain range. Thoughtfully arranged to welcome you back after a day on the mountain, you can keep all your skiing gear neatly stowed away before sinking into the comfortable sofas for a well-earned hot chocolate in front of the fire. The chalet's six homely bedrooms are blissful ensuite retreats for resting tired muscles, with plush furnishings and sumptuous beds. Three bedrooms offer a king-size bed, one houses a king-size and a queen sofa-bed, one has a split-king which can be arranged as two extra-large twin-beds, and the final bedroom has one twin-over-twin bunk – ideal for the little ones in your group.
Spend nights warming up under the stars in the private hot tub, and in the summer months, fire up the grill and treat your guests to some local steaks served on the decking to take in the stunning mountain views.
