I just returned from Italy, Switzerland, and Paris with my family.
It was their first trip to Europe - ever. And although they had always dreamed of going, they had decided they were too old, nervous and overwhelmed and would just probably never get there in their lifetime. Not because they didn’t want to… but because the planning felt overwhelming and they were scared they'd mess it up.
And I see this all the time.
Travel isn’t just “booking a trip” anymore.
It’s:The trains.
The hotel locations.
The transfers.
The timing.
The language barriers.
The currency differences.
And a constant quiet thought in the background: “Are we doing this right?”
That mental load is what stops so many people from going in the first place.
Not cost. Not time.
Overwhelm.
What I noticed most on this trip wasn’t just how beautiful Italy, Switzerland, and Paris were (and they were STUNNING)… it was how different the experience feels when you don’t have to manage all the details.
They didn’t have to figure anything out in the moment.
They didn’t have to troubleshoot logistics.
They just experienced it.
And that’s the part most people underestimate: travel isn’t just about where you go. It’s about how much mental space you have while you’re there.
In my work, I see a pattern.
Smart, capable, successful people have no problem hiring experts in every other area of life:
But when it comes to travel, they suddenly try to do all the research and become the expert themselves.
And it turns into a second job.
A vacation that requires research, coordination, comparison, and constant decision-making doesn’t create rest.
It creates more work in a different location.
And for many people, that overwhelm is exactly what keeps them from taking the trip at all.
The truth is simple:
You don’t need to do all of this yourself.
The goal was never a “perfect” trip.
The goal is to actually live your life while you’re on it.
And sometimes the first step is letting someone else handle the moving pieces so you can finally just go.
Email me and I’ll walk you through what a first trip could actually look like for you — without the stress and without the guesswork.
