The Sandals Foundation Spreads Holiday Cheer With Annual Christmas Treats

The Sandals Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Sandals Resorts International, hosted another successful Holiday Toy Drive thanks to the efforts of hundreds of caring donors like you, our loyal industry partners, and the generous $8,000 in-kind contribution from Hasbro, Inc., one of the world’s leading branded play companies and a valued partner of Beaches Resorts.

Thanks to this year’s “Share the Luck” Toy Drive, 12,500 children throughout the Caribbean got in the holiday spirit with the Foundation’s annual Christmas Treats festivities when the Sandals Resorts Team turns into merry elves putting together celebrations that include a visit from Santa, ice cream, music, games and a gift for every child! Hosting a total of 80 holiday parties throughout local schools, community centers and children’s homes, the Sandals Foundation and Sandals Team were pleased to make it a merry holiday for so many children in Jamaica, the Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Antigua, Turks & Caicos and for the first time, Grenada.  

Founder and President of the Sandals Foundation’s Board of Directors, Adam Stewart, said, “We are so grateful to have guests, Sandals team members, and longstanding partners like Hasbro that care so much about supporting our local communities and giving local children of the Caribbean a holiday season they deserve. This was one of most successful toy drives to date and we could not have done it alone.  We want thank our entire Sandals family for their generosity during the holidays.”
