Bringing some country to the island vibe, Sandals Royal Bahamian hosted Sandals Resorts International's second Story Behind the Songs concert this past weekend in Nassau, Bahamas. Couples were able to bring their boots to the beach and get cozy for an intimate weekend-long performance from country favorites' Eli Young Band and Tucker Beathard, joined by CMT Radio personality, Cody Alan.
Only fitting to go along sitting in the sand on the Bahamian waters, Eli Young Band performed their new single "Saltwater Gospel" among the many other crowd favorites. Tucker Beathard, known for his debut hit, "Rock On", opened for Eli Young Band and even noted it was his first time to the Bahamas and at Sandals. On the other hand, Eli Young Band mentioned they had been before.
In addition to listening along to favorite top hits, guests were also able to see a performance by the one and only Sandals Foundation local children's choir, who performed the band's song. During the event, a toy drive was held where all proceeds were donated to aid the Sandals Foundation in its efforts to improve lives in the Caribbean. The party continued with the Junkanoo Beach Party, exclusive VIP meet-and-greets, and of course plenty of fun in the sun (and the Piano Bar).
