If you go, plan two nights in the city and make it a base for exploring the surrounding territory. Pristina's sights include many mosques, the Gracanica Monastery and the Mausoleum of Sultan Murat. The city's twisting, unpaved roads also lead to a 13th-century fortress, Turkish baths and shops filled with filigree jewelry.
