Sandals Emerald Bay is thrilled to once again play host to the first tournament of the 2024 season for PGA TOUR’s Web.com Tour, the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic. In conjunction with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and BD Global, LLC., the tournament, taking place January 10- 16, will feature a Friday Pro-Am headlined by World Golf Hall of Famer Greg Norman and conclude with the official four-day tournament.
“We are so excited to team with the Web.com Tour and the PGA TOUR for the second year in a row,” said Adam Stewart, Deputy Chairman and CEO of Sandals Resorts International. “Sandals Emerald Bay is recognized as one of the most scenic golf courses in the Caribbean, so it is the perfect place to host this reputable PGA TOUR event, not only for the players, but also allowing our guests to be a part of the action.”
The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay will be the second PGA Tour-sanctioned event to take place at Sandals Emerald Bay and will be broadcasted live on Golf Channel with an unprecedented Saturday through Tuesday tournament schedule.
In addition to the unimaginable luxury offered at Sandals Emerald Bay, any guest staying at the resort during the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic will be honored with complimentary spectator gallery access to the tournament. Those golf enthusiasts seeking more limited-edition access will also have the opportunity to experience the competition first-hand with exclusive LIV+ event packages, including a VIP Spectator Package and a Presidential Pro-Am Package. One lucky Presidential Pro-Am couple will also will win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play in the Pro-Am with Greg “Great White Shark” Norman himself on the same championship course he personally designed.
