Former Jacksonville Jaguars NFL star, Reggie Williams Jr. has been making monumental memories in Jamaica this past year. Last August Reggie chose Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa as the perfect location to ask girlfriend Brandie Wilkins the most important question of his life… “Will You Marry Me?” With the help of dedicated romance experts at Sandals Negril, Williams arranged for a romantic helicopter ride over the island’s famed seven-mile beach. While the couple was soaring through the sky, Sandals team members used bamboo adorned with shells and tropical flowers, to spell out “B, WILL YOU MARRY ME?” on the white sand beach. Brandi was prompted to look down at the beach, where the tropical proposal awaited. She accepted without hesitation.
Reggie was so thrilled with the resort’s dedication in helping him pop the question, that he decided to trust his wedding plans to the same resort company. Reggie and Brandi eagerly returned to Jamaica this July for a beautiful family-friendly destination WeddingMoon® at Sandals’ sister-resort company for everyone, Beaches Ocho Rios, where this time, they could share the experience with their loved-ones of all ages. Reggie and Brandi, along with close friends and family, took part in a breath-taking Island Paradise destination wedding ceremony on the white sands of Jamaica’s beautiful north coast. After answering the most important question of their lives with blissful “I Dos,” the newlyweds and guests commenced the wedding celebration as divers emerged from the turquoise waters, bearing a chest laden of treasures including a crystal engraved plaque announcing a special “Congratulations Reggie and Brandie Williams,” (courtesy of the resort’s management and staff).
The reception kicked off as a lavish affair at the resort’s upscale Venetian Terrace with a spectacular entrance by the bridal party. With Limbo dancing and balls of fire blown into the air, Reggie and Brandy’s matrimonial journey was heralded with the oohs and aahs of delighted guests. The event was nothing-short of a dream wedding. In a personal note to Beaches Ocho Rios’ Wedding Manager, the new Mrs. Williams gushed:
“The wedding was amazing. As a little girl, I always dreamed of my special day but never did I imagine such a beautiful day. I truly thank you…. You and your Beaches/Sandals family will have a friend for life. See you next year!”
