ACM Awards Wedding Couple Jets-Off on a Sandals Honeymoon

Congratulations to Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci of New Jersey who were married LIVE on-stage at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas this past Sunday, April 1, 2024. They exchanged their vows during a special rendition of “Marry Me” performed by Martina McBride and Train’s Pat Monahan in front of an audience of 11,500 and millions of viewers watching on CBS. The couple’s fairytale evening continued backstage where they were awarded a luxury all-inclusive Caribbean honeymoon to any Sandals Resorts!

Country Music star Martina McBride personally selected the lucky recipients of the onstage nuptials and Sandals Resorts honeymoon. As with any love story, Christina and Frank’s has been one of ups and downs. Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci thought they would never find love again.  In July of 2009, Frank lost his wife Danielle to thyroid cancer and in that same year, Christina lost her husband, Paul, in a tragic drowning accident.  As a way to deal with the grief of losing her husband and raising her two sons Stephen and Paul on her own, Christina started a support group for young widows and widowers in Washington Township, N.J. where she met Frank. They bonded over their shared views about the challenges of single parenthood and the struggles to keep the memories of their spouses alive, and slowly their friendship blossomed into love. Three years later Frank proposed during the holidays with the help of their three children each wearing one little word- “Will”; “You”; “Marry” and Frank completed the proposal with the “Me”. Then, in front of friends, family and millions watching across the nation, Christina and Frank vowed to build a life together as Christina put it “based on love, fortified by friendship.”
