Beginning May 10, 2022, a temporary final payment extension was added to Disney Cruise Line sailings through Dec. 31, 2022. We are also temporarily relaxing our cruise cancellation fee schedule for sailings through Dec. 31, 2022.

Additionally, temporary changes to our Cruise Date Flexibility Option will now apply to sailings commencing on or before Sept. 30, 2022. With Cruise Date Flexibility, Guests have the option to change their sail date, up to 15 days prior to their cruise departure, to another select sail date commencing prior to September 30, 2023.

SeaMails about these extensions will be going out today.

Guests with sail dates between June 1 and Sept. 30 will receive the following SeaMail on the Cruise Date Flexibility extension. Guests with sail dates between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 will receive the below SeaMail on the Final Payment extension.

FINAL PAYMENT EXTENSION 

Dear [Guest who booked through a travel agent],

All of us at Disney Cruise Line hope you and your family are staying well. We want to let you know we’ve temporarily modified our final payment and cancellation policies to provide you with greater flexibility.

For sailings through December 31, 2022, we are temporarily extending final payment until 60 days prior to sailing for Guests booked in unrestricted stateroom categories. This means that those Guests who have not yet reached their final payment due date can wait until up to 60 days prior to sailing to pay for their cruise vacation. Onboard cruise activities can be scheduled within your Castaway Club booking window once final payment is received.

In addition, we are temporarily relaxing our cruise cancellation fee schedule for sailings through December 31, 2022, as described below.
