 Cabo San Lucas, at the very tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, is well-known for its perfect blend of modern luxury and authentic Mexican hospitality, all amidst stunning natural beauty. But below the surface of the sea’s rhythmic waves, and beyond the incomparable beaches lies a different side of Cabo, a unique underwater world beckoning to be admired, and a beautiful desert landscape inviting you to explore. Dip below the water’s surface at one of Cabo’s idyllic beaches and you’ll find some of the world’s finest snorkeling in the Bahia San Lucas. At the very tip of the peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet, Bahia San Lucas enjoys a rare environment where marine life indigenous to both bodies of water, create a phenomenal underwater world. A marine sanctuary, Bahia San Lucas is filled with schools of vividly colored tropical fish. Memories can be made when you discover a quiet sea turtle, or come face to face with an elusive sea horse. Lover’s Beach is a peaceful inlet, tucked behind a jagged archway of rock, and is Bahia San Lucas’s most popular meeting place for hundreds of species of fish, as well as sunbathing sea lions. “Playa del Amor” means Lover’s Beach, and can be reached by water-taxi hired at the marina, or by a serene sea kayak ride for two.
