I'm a sucker for a great family vacation! I love the mother-daughter get away trips that go anywhere in the US just to explore, the whole family (including grandma and grandpa) making memories kind of trips, and I definitely love a great beach! Hawaii is my love language!!
I'm a teacher and coach by trade so I usually over plan things, which helps out in the travel industry. I have 3 adult children and have gone through the fun and work of planning a family vacation with kids. Our family rule has always been that no matter what vacation we are on we have to go and do something educational on the trip. The joys of having a mom that's a teacher. Now that my children are grown and my daughter has a son of her own, she is keeping up with that tradition, and that makes my heart happy!
