a dhoni boat is like taking a step back in time. A dhoni
(pronounced “do-nee”) is a skillfully crafted art form in
itself — a sailboat with a motor or lateen sails, resembling
a traditional Arab sailing vessel. The time-honored
dhoni is one of the oldest known vessels in the Maldives.
