Description:

Get away for 2 days to the serene natural wonder of Yosemite National Park and spend the night in a comfortable hotel. With your guide, explore the popular park and marvel at renowned sites including El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Fall, and Inspiration Point.

Day 1:
Your 2-day escape starts with an early pickup from your San Francisco hotel where you embark on a scenic drive to the lush mountains. Treat yourself to fresh crisp air and admire the acres of awe-inspiring wild meadows and cascading waterfalls in Yosemite National Park.

Arriving in stunning Yosemite, join your guide for a narrated hike to the park's glaciated valley with famous waterfalls. Stop for lunch and take in the panoramic view overlooking the valley from Inspiration Point. Then spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure with a choice of activities such as swimming, biking, hiking, or take a breaking in the park. In the evening, head with the guide to Cedar Lodge for a soak in the hot tub, a pint at the bar, or just a good night's sleep.

Day 2:
Your day starts with a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel before you explore more of the park. Meet your group and drive to Glacier Point, 3,200 feet (980 m) above the valley floor, and marvel at the panoramic views of Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, Vernal Fall, and the High Sierra. See giant sequoias soaring skyward and continue exploring with your group or at your leisure with the help of your guide.

As your second day wraps up, journey to the base of famed El Capitan and spot rock climbers ascending 3,000 feet (914 m) up to the summit. On your way back to the city, take in the evening view of Alcatraz, Angel Island, and the splendor of San Francisco as you cross the Bay Bridge from Oakland.
