Spend a day exploring the stunning Anaga mountain range, home to verdant hills, dramatic gorges, dense forests, and remote villages. This tour takes you on a journey through the natural beauty of Anaga Rural Park, the Roque de la Bodegas village, and the take a breaking Las Teresitas beach.
Your adventure begins with a drive up north to see the greener side of the island. Enjoy views of rich vegetation and the natural setting of Anaga Rural Park before stopping at a local bar for a break with coffee and something sweet. Next, journey through the mountainous massif to a laurel forest and embark on a guided hike.
Trek through the subtropical forest along a route that was once the only trail between the towns of Taganana, Santa Cruz, and La Laguna. Pass by clusters of evergreen trees with laurel-like leaves, absorb the tranquil vitality that oozes from the surrounding woodlands, and take the opportunity to snap photos of the untamed landscapes.
Back on wheels, your tour continues to the remote village of Taganana, one of the oldest settlements on Tenerife. At the coastal hamlet of Roque de la Bodegas, enjoy a traditional homemade Canary Island lunch before setting off to one of the only natural white-sand beaches on the island.
Spend your afternoon at your own leisure. Unwind on the sandy beach of Las Teresitas, take a dip in the azure waters, and soak up the sun before returning to your hotel.
