Description:
Journey through some of the most incredible settings along the South Island's coast for 5 days of explorey and adventure. Admire the stunning fjords at Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound, see the mountain peaks from Lake Manapouri, and experience the peace and calm of an untouched natural expanse.
Day 1:
Arrive at Queenstown Airport where you are greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day and explore the city at your leisure.
Day 2:
Start your day early and travel to the unspoiled wilderness of Doubtful Sound. Take a cruise across Lake Manapouri to West Arm and look for bottlenose dolphins, fur seals, or the rare Fiordland crested penguin. Continue your tour with a drive through lush rainforest and a catamaran ride that lets you admire the incredible scenery. In the evening, your coach takes you to Te Anau for an overnight stay.
Day 3:
Travel to Milford Sound for an overnight cruise on the Milford Mariner, a purpose-built vessel designed in the style of a traditional trading scow. Sail all the way to the Tasman Sea and pass spectacular waterfalls, rainforests, and wildlife. Anchor in a sheltered cove and take to the water in kayaks with your expert guide, or just stay on the deck and take a break.
Day 4:
After your cruise comes to an end, board the coach for a ride back to back to Queenstown and another chance to explore the town.
Day 5:
A transfer back to the airport brings your tour to an end.
