Description:

Take a step back in time with a visit to Jiufen and Pingxi, a pair of charming, old-style destinations. See the towns that became a destination for romantic getaways, nostalgic walks, and delightful restaurants and teahouses, and explore the mystical atmosphere that surrounds you.

Embark on your comfortable coach and make your first stop to admire the Yin-Yang Sea, where the water displays a striking yellow and blue hue. Next, visit the spectacular Golden Waterfalls and marvel at the spectacular network of channels and cascades. Enjoy lunch and a breezy stroll along the narrow streets and steep steps of this charming town while you admire the breathtaking views.

Later, take in the impressive sight of the Shifen Waterfall, the widest fall in Taiwan, and then make your way to the village of Pingxi for the annual Sky Lantern festival. Here, you have the chance to write out your wishes on a lantern and release it to float into the sky.

Conclude your tour as the rail line from the old town of Shifen to Jingtong takes you on your journey back to your hotel.
