Down 282 feet (86 m) below sea level sits Badwater Basin, a saltwater pool that is noted as the lowest point in North America. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Zabriskie Point, the Devil’s Golf Course, and the Furnace Creek Museum. At Hell’s Gate see if you can spot a bighorn sheep or lizard, and then take in a breathtaking view over Death Valley’s red, pink, and yellow oxidized rocks.
