Make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf in the morning to meet up with your guide and grab a comfortable seat in a van to ride along the Bay and across the iconic span of the Golden Gate. Stop for a postcard-worthy photo opportunity on the Marin side with the city skyline as your backdrop, and then continue inland to the golden hills and valleys of Northern California’s renowned wine country.
Stop at 2 different wineries to sip on NorCal varietals like zinfandel, learning about solar-powered viticulture at Cline Cellars and soaking up the rustic charm at the award-winning Larson Family Winery. Pick up a few bottles or cases to take back home, or just enjoy the tastings and the scenery before heading back into the city. Your guide drops you back in Fisherman’s Wharf, where you have plenty of time to pop into fun museums and shops, visit the local sea lion colony, or grab a seafood lunch in a waterfront restaurant.
For the next segment of your tour, make your way toward Pier 33 and board the ferry that takes you across the choppy waves of the bay to Alcatraz.
