See Mont Ventoux, known as the Giant of Provence, and marvel at the splendid landscape dominated by the mountain on this full-day tour. Explore some of the most charming medieval villages in the region, such as Séguret and Gigondas, visit local wine estates, and see a winemaking museum in Rasteau.
With its peak at 6,273 feet (1,912 m), Mont Ventoux is a legendary mountain for cyclists on the Tour de France. Enjoy a scenic ride at the foot of its majestic slope, passing through vineyards, orchards, and fields of lavender to reach the medieval village of Séguret.
As you stoll in the town's quaint narrow streets, admire the charming Provençal atmosphere and its medieval character. Look for the ancient Reynier gate, the 14th-century belfry with its single needle, or the charming 10th-century Church of Saint Denis.
Next, arrive at Gigondas, a quaint little village of only 700 inhabitants that dates back to Roman times. Walk through the pretty streets and alleyways lined with stonework houses to reach Sainte Catherine Church and see its charming 14th-century facade. From there, admire the breathtaking view of the charming countryside.
After a visit to the Vintners' Museum in Rasteau, pay a visit to 4 estates where you can enjoy a taste of local wine before your tour ends.
