Begin your day on the water with a pleasant ride near the marinas and ports of downtown San Diego. Check out mighty battleships like the USS Midway and classic wooden sailboats like the Star of India. Cruise by the affluent shores of Coronado and under the towering span of the Coronado Bay Bridge.

After circling the harbor, set a course for the wide-open Pacific Ocean, keeping your eyes peeled for telltale seaspray blasts from powerful blowholes. Depending on the time of year, you might see the explosive jumps of humpbacks, the graceful tails of blue whales, or the white-and-grey bodies of minke.
