Your adventure begins with a walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto. Follow your guide through its narrow, cobblestone streets and learn more about the history of the district. In 1555 the Pope declared that the Jewish population would be confined to this walled neighborhood, which experienced its share of tragedy over the centuries but also helped Roman culture and gastronomy blossom.

From there, board a luxury minibus and make your way to the Circus Maximus, ancient Rome’s chariot racing grounds. Then, continue to the famous Appian Way, where you can stroll on centuries-old paving stones and see the enormous mausoleum of Cecila Metella.

Your next stop is at the Parco degli Acquedotti—the park of the aqueducts—where you can admire some of the earliest Roman waterways and the third-century Baths of Caracalla.
