Description:

Novice and expert paddlers alike can soak up the sun and scenery on this kayaking tour along Maui's western shoreline. Cruise over calm and shallow waters, and follow your local guide to the some of the best snorkeling spots on the island.

While you're still on the beach, grab your life vest and gear and listen in as your guides offer a brief orientation to kayaking, giving you a chance to get familiar with the equipment and best paddling techniques. Once you're ready, hop in and skim over the waves, enjoying the active adventure as you paddle along for approximately 2.5 miles (4 km). Admire the steep and verdant gorges of the West Maui Mountains and the green gulches and gullies of the Ukumehame Valley.

Take a break for snacks and refreshments on the water, and then paddle behind your guide as you're led to a prime snorkeling location. Protected from the wind and waves, this hidden spot is the perfect place to get up close to thriving coral gardens, vibrant tropical fish, and even giant sea turtles as they drift and swim in the gentle current.
