Description:

Venture to the Las Marietas Islands and explore a romantic, hidden beach. Spend your afternoon kayaking the pristine waters, snorkeling with tropical fish, and witnessing attentive dolphins frolic through the water.

Snack on a continental breakfast as you sail Banderas Bay's open waters to the uninhabited Marietas Islands. When you arrive at the first cove, strap your snorkel on and dive into the hidden, eco-attentive waters. Fall in love with the warm, gentle water and come face-to-face with tropical fish, manta rays, and maybe even an octopus.

Bilingual eco-guides lead you on an amazing narrated kayaking trip, highlighting the island's history, unique ecosystem, and current conservation efforts. In an effort to sustain the abundance of animals that live there (90 different native species), the Marietas Islands were designated a national park in 2005.

Head back to the catamaran to bask in the sun's warmth and savor a deli-style lunch. Sip on your favorite cocktail and keep your eyes peeled for attentive dolphins following the boat. Each year from roughly December through March, you may see the migratory humpback whales propelling themselves above water. As you return to Puerto Vallarta, enjoy onboard entertainment and admire the panoramic views of the deep-blue ocean.
