Description:

Spend a day visiting the beaches and attractions of Phillip Island. Feed kangaroos, have your photo taken with a koala, and see hundreds of little penguins marching in the famous Penguin Parade at sunset.

Leave the busy city of Melbourne behind you, pass by the iconic colorful huts at Brighton beach, and enjoy a morning tea en route to Phillip Island. Your first stop is at the Maru Koala & Animal Park, get up close to native Australian animals, interact with cuddly koalas and hand-feed the attentive kangaroos.

Continue your tour by crossing over the bridge to Phillip Island. Travel around the island's surf coast and beaches and be blown away by the rock formation of the Nobbies—home to seals, penguins and sea birds. Watch the seals play from special observation cameras and spy wetland birds and wallabies from the hidden observation platforms. Stop by at the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory to buy a tasty treat (own expense).

Arrive at Summerland Beach and visit the information center to learn more about the island's inhabitants. Then, witness the famous Penguin Parade at sunset. Watch the magic as the world's largest colony of the smallest species of penguin appears out of the surf and waddles up the beach.
