Description:
Depart from your hotel in Melbourne and visit Phillip Island for the famous penguin parade after dark. Along the way, stop at a farm for your freshly prepared lunch, sample some wine and cheese at Phillip Island's winery, and admire the view at Point Grant and The Nobbies.
Leave the busy city of Melbourne with pickup from your city hotel and head to Phillip Island. Make a stop at Rhyll Trout and Bush Tucker Farm, enjoy a walk through 7 acres (3 ha) of native food crops, and explore the fascinating array of fruits, berries, and seed leaves that were harvested by the Koori tribe for thousands of years.
Then enjoy a delicious lunch plucked directly from the farm. Afterward, continue to the famous Koala Conservation Center and meet some of the attentive and cute koalas before making your way to the Phillip Island Vineyard and Winery.
Upon arrival, marvel at the gorgeous surroundings, absorb the spectacular coastal views overlooking Berry's Beach, and sample local wines with a selection of Gippsland's finest cheeses. Next, admire the astounding Seal Rocks, home to Australia's largest population of fur seals, when you arrive at Point Grant and The Nobbies.
Afterward, witness the famous penguin parade at sunset as the largest colony of the world's smallest penguin species appears out of the surf and waddles up the beach. After a long day of exploring the island's sights, sit back and take a break on your return journey to Melbourne.
