Description:
On an exciting 2-day tour to charming Phillip Island, marvel at its native wildlife, watch little penguins return to shore at Penguin Parade park, and see koalas, kangaroos, and wallabies up close at Maru Koala and Animal Park.
Day 1
From Melbourne, travel in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach to Phillip Island. Along your way, admire panoramic views of French Island before you drive into the city's affluent suburbs with many Victorian-style homes built in the late 1800s.
At your first stop, Maru Koala and Animal Park, get the chance to have up-close encounters with koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, and wallabies. While you learn about the conservation of these lovable, native animals, have your camera ready to snap a few photos as you pet and feed them. Later, travel to the seaside town of Cowes and take time to shop for souvenirs and artisan wares or cool off with a swim.
Day 2
Join your expert guide in the afternoon as you head to Penguin Parade. Upon arrival at the park, watch from the boardwalk as wild little penguins emerge from the sea after a hard day of fishing and waddle across the sand to their nests.
