Description:

Take a fascinating tour of Western Australia: Visit the monastic town of New Norcia, walk among the mystical limestone pillars at Pinnacles Desert, and enjoy the white sandy beaches at Cervantes.

In the morning, travel north of the city and out to the coast. Pass by the wine-growing region of Swan Valley and arrive at New Norcia, Australia's only monastic town.

Take a private guided tour through historic sites and view buildings not accessible to the public, including the 19th-century Benedictine Abbey still inhabited and worked in by monks. Explore the New Norcia Museum & Art Gallery and visit one of the local produce shops with its Benedictine Community goods including New Norcia Abbey Ale, port, and olive oil.

Travel through the countryside and pass by a number of wind turbines that each stand 223 feet (68 m) tall. Break for a picnic lunch in Cervantes and take a take a breaking walk on the white-sand beach. At Thirsty Point, absorb spectacular views of Ronsard Bay and the Indian Ocean.

To highlight the day, take in the awe-inspiring sight at Nambung National Park, where nature-created limestone pillars loom as you roam through the park's Pinnacles Desert.
