Description:
Leave LA's urban sprawl behind and head into the vastness of the desert. Spend some time among the bright lights of Sin City, and then take in the breathtaking scenery and natural wonders of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park.
Day 1
Ride over the endless sands of Death Valley on your way to Sin City, arriving in time to tour the Strip's bright lights and famed hotels. Afterward, enjoy an evening on the town as you please—catch a show, dine in one of Vegas' world-class restaurants, or try your luck at a casino.
Day 2
Ride through the Navajo Indian reservation as you approach the Grand Canyon. Admire this colossal gorge's gradient coloring and dramatic formations from the South Rim. After lunch, check out the Native American crafts and wares on offer before continuing on to your hotel.
Day 3
In the morning, make your way to Lake Powell, where a scenic boat cruise takes you down this Colorado River reservoir, passing by salt pillars and sand arches. Continue marveling at the fantastic rock formations at your next stop, Bryce Canyon. Watch the sun sink down over the red rocks before you head to your Kanab hotel.
Day 4
Your fourth day takes you to majestic Zion National Park. Admire the rugged landscape with a short walking tour along the Virgin River. Your up-close look at the park's jagged canyons, sculpted cliffs, and emerald pools makes for an unforgettable conclusion to your trip.
