Nestled under the imposing rock face of Le Baou, the charming little village of Saint-Jeannet is home to a spectacular winery. Take in the dazzling view over 4 sprawling hectares of vines, framed by the hazy peaks of the Alps. Wine has been produced in this exact location at least as far back as Roman times, 2,000 years ago. Visit a cellar that continues this age-old tradition, and listen as the winemaker describes the process for making a drink known as tuilé. This unique libation is named for its brick-like color, which develops after being left for several months in large glass bottles in direct sunshine.

Continue your day in lovely Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a hilltop fortified village. Walk through its winding streets by elegant fountains, vine-covered stone walls, and take a look at the floral-patterned cobblestones.
