Lush and life-filled, the Gondwana Rainforests make up the most extensive subtropical rainforest region in the world. Set out on foot for an up-close look at the uniquely Australian flora and fauna of Springbrook National Park and the mystical waterfalls hidden within this tropical landscape.

Take a seat in a spacious and comfortable coach and ride through the pastoral countryside of Numinbah Valley, one of the most idyllically charming stretches of the Gold Coast hinterland. Stop for afternoon tea, sipping fresh fruit juices and sodas as you snack on sweet cakes and savory quiches.

Arrive in Springbrook National Park, located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Gondwana Rainforests. Walk beneath towering Springbrook Leatherwood trees interspersed among the eucalyptus, flooded gums, and 2,000-year-old beech trees. Listen as your guide shares insight into this ancient ecosystem, and keep your eyes peeled for small wallabies hopping through the brush, koalas clinging to the treetops, and elusive, singing lyrebirds.

Pass by 5 different waterfalls, including Purling Brook Falls, where water drops some 330 feet (100 m) to send hazy rainbows misting up from the pool at its base. Continue through the trees to the Natural Bridge, a rock arch formed by a waterfall cascading through a cave over the course of millions of years.

The final stop of your tour is at the aptly named Best of All Lookout, where you can gaze over the forested hillsides and valleys of the Green Cauldron and to the craggy peaks of Mount Warning in the distance.
