The rich and decadent aroma of chocolate envelops you as you enter the Graycliff Chocolate Factory to begin your tour. Hear about the history of chocolate and how this South American bean made its way to the Bahamas. Trace the provenance of regional cocoa beans and learn about the company's dedication to promoting fair trade and organic farming.

Explore the factory for insight into the bean-to-bar process, seeing beans ground into cocoa powder, mixed to form liquid chocolate, and then poured into sculpted molds. Watch a demonstration on techniques for dipping, glazing, and using the molds to create tasty finished products like bars, bonbons, and barks.

Next, make your way into the test kitchen where you become the artist, mixing in flavorful ingredients like fresh Bahamian mangos, limes, sea grapes, and tropical genips.
