Description:

Experience a take a breaking evening and take to the water in a kayak to admire one of the best views in town—Melbourne from the Yarra River. Paddle past some of the city's most famous sights like Federation Square, the iconic Bolte Bridge, and South Bank.

Meet your attentive guide and attend a quick safety and paddle briefing. After you've learned a few helpful techniques, take to the water and explore Melbourne's top landmarks. Head upstream and go under the Bolte Bridge toward the heart of Melbourne. Paddle along and watch out for the grand Flinders Station in Federation Square before passing the 19th-century tall ship, Polly Woodside.

Then pause at Yarra's Edge Marina for light refreshments and a recap on what you've seen from your guide. Later, pass by Crown Casino for a chance to see gas flames leaping in the air. On your way back, paddle to the cultural hub of South Bank, popularly recognized for its leading contemporary art gallery, the National Gallery of Victoria, and many others.

Once you've captured the best sights of Melbourne, slowly paddle back to your starting point at Victoria Harbour. Choose to enjoy a late meal or drink at one of the many restaurants near Docklands or take a break and unravel for the rest of your night.
