Description:
Set out for an adrenaline-packed day amid Maui's charming tropical scenery. Fly through the air above the rainforests of the Pi'iholo Valley on a thrilling zipline adventure, and then hike to a hidden waterfall where you can jump from rocky outcrops and swim in the refreshing pool at its base.
Your full-day expedition begins on the slopes of Halaekala, at the Pi'iholo Ranch. Your guide helps you get into your harness and shares some safety pointers, and then it's time to fly. Leap from the platform and zip along 4 different high-speed lines, gazing down at the valley floor 200 feet (60 m) below. After your white-knuckled ride comes to an end, refuel with a healthy lunch before your adventure continues.
Next, set out for a leisurely, moderately paced hike. Trek along jungle trails and winding stream beds as your naturalist guide describes the natural features and exotic plants that surround you. Arrive at 2 waterfalls nestled among fern-filled gulches and towering banyan trees. Kick off your shoes and take a break in this serene and tranquil setting, or dive in for an invigorating swim in the cool freshwater lagoon.
