Description:
There's no better way to explore the famous wines of Margaret River than on an easy-going cycle tour of the area's vineyards. On this 2-day tour, explore viticulture as well as the natural wonders of caves, forests, and beaches as you uncover the charm of this picturesque region.
Day 1
Escape the confines of Perth and head south along the coast to the impressive wooden jetty at Busselton, the longest in the southern hemisphere. Discover the ancient fossils of Mammoth Cave before strolling through the enchanting Boranup Forest with its towering karri trees. At a local winery, enjoy samples of vintages and gain an insight into how the industry operates. Then take some free time in the evening to wander the streets of Margaret River.
Day 2
Arguably the best way to explore the vineyards is by bike. Move from one to another easily and efficiently and be free to taste fabulous wines as you go. Your guide for the day has specialized knowledge and is ready to pass it on as you get the full vine-to-bottle story. By cycling at a take a breaked pace along scenic forest paths and past fragrant vineyards, you can cover a surprising amount of ground. Complete your tour with platter of delicious local produce in glorious surroundings.
