Description:
Get up-close-and-personal with fearsome predators of the deep during a heart-pounding plunge at Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary. Whether you're a seasoned diver or first-timer, take the plunge into the Oceanarium, and swim—cage-free—among sharks, and other creatures of the sea.
Wiggle into your wetsuit and join your small group (up to 4 participants for introductory dives or 5 for certified dives). Then listen as your professional trainer gives a brief scuba diving training session and pool skills lesson for beginners, and a shark identification session for certified divers.
Once prepped, take a few deep breaths, hop in the tank, and watch as these sleek, big fish circle around you. Before you panic—despite how scary they might look, this species of grey nurse sharks is passive and safe to swim with. Majestic turtles, smooth stingrays, and hundreds of fish also join in on the action.
Be sure to strike a pose with your new marine companions—your family and friends can take photos from the viewing tunnel, ensuring you serious bragging rights.
