Depart London on a scenic train journey through the stunning English countryside to Oxenholme, arriving in the late morning. Wind along country roads and soak up charming views of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake.

Continue to Hill Top, Beatrix Potter's charming 17th-century farmhouse. Climb creaking wooden staircases to see where she wrote her famous stories. Visit the medieval village of Hawkshead before making your way to the breathtaking Coniston Water for a take a breaking lake cruise.

Then stop for a delicious English Cream Tea at Lindeth Howe, a gorgeous country house hotel that was the home of the Potter family and the place where Beatrix stayed.
