Description:
For the ultimate adventure, explore Mallorca's rugged northern areas. Take to your bike and conquer the sierra on 2 wheels and by foot, as you add trekking into the mix. A hearty picnic helps you recharge your batteries and take in the stunning views around you.
Get ready for a day filled with adventure and activity. Get kitted out and hop on your mountain bike. Then set off exploring the craggy terrain of the Finca de Carrossa. This historic place is located near the village of Artà in the northeast of Mallorca.
Pedal up toward the top of the El Pare hill, a challenging yet rewarding route. Once atop, stop to catch your breath and take in the breathtaking vistas across the island. From your vantage point you can see Llevant Natural Park and the bays of Cala Ratjada, Cala Millor, and Alcúdia. Pedal past olive groves, almond trees, and evergreen landscapes.
The second stage of your adventure is a trekking route. Follow your expert guide and walk 1.5 miles (2.5 km) toward an idyllic spot where a hearty picnic prepared with local produce energizes you for your route back to base.
