Description:

Now children 8–12 years old can experience the joy of diving and see the marine life on the seabed with an exciting new diving program—PETER. With this cross between scuba diving and snorkeling, youngsters can safely explore the wonders of the sea in a straightforward and secure fashion.

At Punta Negra conditions are ideal for diving. With one sandy and one rocky inlet, should the wind blow into one inlet, the other is protected and visibility is virtually guaranteed. Your guides cover the details of the pioneering PETER system—a hybrid of diving and snorkeling. Floating tanks on the surface allow kids to submerge themselves in the water without the cumbersome weight of tanks or other complicated equipment.

With no previous diving experience required, youngsters are soon exploreing the wide variety of marine life including colorful shoals of fish, weird and wonderful crustaceans, and a diversity of plants. This exciting experience is sure to provide a great introduction to underwater adventures and leaves you confident that your children are exploring in safe hands.
