Description:

Ride the waves of the Sea of Cortez and learn the techniques of classic surfing with lessons along the Baja coast. Suitable for young and old, the amusing surf lessons at Costa Azul make for an energizing workout and a great half-day in the sea.

After a convenient pickup at your hotel, head out to the Costa Azul area to meet your charismatic and experienced instructors. Make yourself comfortable on a beach chair for the theoretical part of the lesson, in which you learn the principles behind surfing. Next, get a feeling for the board while still on the sand before you take to the water.

Next, it's time to turn the tips into practice. Grab your board and follow your instructor to the spots where the waves curl, ready to catch the perfect flow. Once the wave starts pushing your board, get ready to push yourself up and start surfing in earnest. You can repeat the exciting exercise several times, becoming better with each wave.

Cool off at the beach and reward your efforts with soft drinks and snacks before you return to your hotel.
