Located in the Horse Guards, the official entrance to the Royal Residences, the Household Cavalry Museum celebrates over 350 years of military history, heroes, and exploits of the British Army’s senior regiment.

Made up of the 2 most senior regiments of the British Army, the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals, the main responsibility of the Household Cavalry is to protect Her Majesty the Queen.

Marvel at numerous regimental artifacts, including uniforms, helmets, and cuirasses, and see troopers performing their daily ceremonies to the State. From a glazed partition, you can even admire the Queen’s Life Guards preparing their horses in their 18th-century working stables. Interactive displays and audio-visual presentations offer an overview of the rigorous training and history of the regiment.
